Program Records is an upcoming vinyl record pressing facility based in Melbourne. A typographic identity system was designed to create a distinct visual language for the brand. A tall condensed bold logotype mimics the image of a stacked record collection. The strategic absence of photographic imagery in the visual language helps the brand stand out in the sea of vibrant album art. The repeated use of simple shapes forms a playful and rhythmic system. The user experiences rhythm while interacting with the website, and other digital collateral.
Identity proposal designed at RMIT University, under the guidance of Stuart Geddes.
