A whimsical encyclopedia of typographic associations. Inspired by the British artist Ryan Gander, I designed a publication where words paired with individual anecdotal descriptions are associated with each other following an underlying narrative of connections presented through images. The connections tend to be humorous, direct, adjacent, poetic or sometimes absurd. 

The design of the publication is set up with a clear typographic system. The mix of left alignment plays off the centred title, image and caption, along with featuring intermittent quirks placed throughout to create moments of surprise.
